EARLY LIFE AND CALL TO MINISTRY

Rev. Jacob Mathew was born in Kerala, India. He is a born-again, water-baptized, and Spirit-filled minister of the Gospel, who has completed twenty-two years in Christ’s service. Raised in a Christian family(brethren denomination), he was saved at the age of fifteen while attending a High school brethren youth camp. Three years later, in 1996 he received God’s call to ministry while attending college for his Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy.

Rev. Mathew walked away from the will of God for five years and lived in open rebellion. In 2001, he went through  21 days of depression, which led to three suicide attempts. God miraculously delivered him from the suicide attempts, he re-dedicated his life to Christ in July 2001. The same month, God re-confirmed his call to Rev. Mathew in Muscat, Oman, and set him apart for ministry from the holy scriptures of Jeremiah 1:5-10. He received his ordination for ministry from Rev. Jacob Maliyil Jacob, Pastor of Trinity Christian Assembly (Muscat, Oman), and began his preaching ministry at the young age of 23.

Rev. Mathew is a licensed minister with The General Council of The Assemblies of God, Springfield Missouri.
